Central Supply Attendant 1199 H1732

Performs various tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing materials,
equipment and products within the Hospital Center.

Receives requests for supplies, selects stock from inventory and distributes to designated areas.Completes and signs all records pertaining to stock levels, supply quantities issued and other data. Responsible for reporting in a timely manner any Pyxis Machine malfunction or discrepancy as it relates to supplies. Reviews and checks shipping documents to insure that proper quantities were received in storeroom. Operates mechanical and power assisted equipment for moving and transporting of supplies safely. All delivered carts must be recorded in logsheet located at the Receiving Department office. 

High School or GED. Experience in materials management in health care/hospital environment preferred.
Must be familiar with materials management procedures and techniques.
