Integrative Therapist - II

BronxCare is the largest voluntary, not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system serving the South and Central Bronx is looking for an Integrative Therapsit II

Under the direction of the Activity Coordinator and program Chief conducts activities for patients. The Integrative Therapsist will be responsible for the following: 

• Runs effective Activity Therapy groups.
• Is therapeutic one-to-one contacts with patient.
• Transmits information in a clear and timely manner to the charts.
• Maintains a current and varied knowledge base on therapeutic techniques.
• Assists in organizing and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Regularly communicates effectively with the multi-disciplinary team
• Utilizes supervisory and peer feedback to improve work performance.
• Supervises students when assigned.

MA degree in a mental field related to Occupational, Recreational, Creative Arts and/or Vocational Rehabilitation with/or eligible for certification, registration and/or license.

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (C.T.R.S.)
