Overview

Plans, conducts and coordinates development efforts with team members that are geographically dispersed, including onsite and offshore MIS teams.
Manage clinical change requests; gather additional information as needed for review and assignment to technical team at weekly MIS change advisory board.
Manages projects including new clinical workflows and enhancements through their full lifecycle ensuring delivery within agreed upon deadlines; liaises between end-users and technical teams. Consolidate weekly status reports for review with team. Creates and maintains supporting project documentation; Communicates with project teams and stakeholders to ensure continuing alignment with project objectives. Facilitates MIS meetings, sub-committee meetings and produce meeting minutes and follow-up action items. Responsible for designing custom MIS processes in the Project Management Software – JIRA and rolling out to all MIS staff. Has metric driven, customer-centric focus to execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

- Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department. Contribution and participation includes data collection, analysis, implementation of and compliance with risk management and claims activities, support of and participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams, consistent adherence to the specific rules and regulations of the BronxCare Health System’s (a) Safety and Security Policies, (b) Risk Management: Incident and Occurrence Reporting, (c) Infection Control Policies and Procedures and (d) Patient and Customer Service.

Qualifications

- At least 3+ years of Project Management experience preferably in Healthcare field.

 

- Bachelor’s in Project Mgmt/Information Systems

 

- Master’s

 

- Extensive Computer Knowledge

 

- Microsoft Office – Outllook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint

 

- JIRA/Project Management Software
