Supervisor - Housekeeping/Line

We are looking for Housekeeping Supervisor to help maintain a safe and clean working environment to include patient rooms, office, supply area and equipment room. 

Implement processes to improve Press Ganey and HCAHPS – Room Cleanliness, Courtesy of person cleaning room during their hospital stay and how often the rooms and bathrooms need to be cleaned. Maintain a safe and clean working environment includes office, supply area and equipment room.Orients, trains and evaluates employees on a timely basis per BronxCare policy.Adheres to safety, Infection Control, EVS departments and hospital’s policies and procedures.Attends mandatory monthly meetings and in-services also actively participate. Must have enthusiasm and commitment to get the job done. Meets all deadlines. Have no difficulty in setting & prioritizing goals. Does consistently hold people accountable for results or to meet expectations. Provide a workable guide to laundry personal for the care of patient with potentially communicable diseases and to protect as well as the personnel from unnecessary expose to a potentially contaminated environment to prevent cross infection and secondary infection.All linen carts and containers should be kept covered. The clean linen area must be free of contaminants. Storage of clean linen must be off the ground in enclosed cabinets, carts dedicated for that purpose or in conditions, which maintain the linen in an uncontaminated state.

Three years’ experience in Nursing Home, Education, Hotel or Hospital setting Building Services, Janitorial or Environmental Services.
