Overview

Services Coordinator exhibits excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The Coordinator must be able to deal effectively with all levels of staff and with the general public to achieve strategic planning initiatives set forth by the chairman and hospital committees.

Responsibilities

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors and other employees. Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors, and other employees. Behave in a manner consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center and its employees.

 

 

- Contribute to and participate in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department. Contribution and participation includes data collection, analysis, implementation of and compliance with corrective/improvement activities, membership on CQI teams, consistent adherence to established performance standards and: adherence to the specific rules and regulations of the B.C.H.S’s Safety & Security Policies; Risk Management: Incident and Occurrence Reporting; Infection Control Policies and Procedures; Patient and Customer Service.

 

 

 

- Assist in the organization of office operations and procedures.

 

 

- Makes entries into Medical Record.

 

 

- Assist departmental managers and providers to implement, expand and promote projects and programs.

 

 

- Provides information, emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.

 

 

- Coordinates Centering program, including Patient recruitment, staff training, scheduling, accreditation, supply management data collection, and direct patient care.

Qualifications

- One to three (1-3) years experience working with the general public, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Satisfactory combination of Education and Experience.

- Microsoft Office 

- Bachelors degree in hospital administration or related field
