The Administrator of Ob/Gyn HIV Care will report directly to the Director of Ob/Gyn HIV Care or her designee and will administratively oversee all HIV related services provided by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Administrator of Ob/Gyn HIV Care will also report to the Chairman of Ob/Gyn and collaborate with the Medial Director of HIV Ambulatory Services, the Chief of Infectious Diseases and the Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases on programs and policies regarding Women’s HIV Services.

- Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department. Contribution and participation includes data collection, analysis, implementation of and compliance with risk management and claims activities, support of and participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams, consistent adherence to the specific rules and regulations of the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center (a) Safety and Security Policies, (b) Risk Management: Incident and Occurrence Reporting, (c) Infection Control Policies and Procedures and (d) Patient and Customer Service.
- The Administrator of Ob/Gyn HIV Services may represent the Chairman and the Administrator of Ob/Gyn as well as the Director of Ob/Gyn HIV Care at both hospital wide meetings (Department Heads Meetings, etc) and inter agency meetings as directed.
- Establishes linkages with community primary care sites to create new referral sources for the HIV Family Clinic and Ob/Gyn Specialty Services. Implements referral patterns for these services and supervises staff responsible for maintaining these systems.
- Establishes information exchange systems between primary care sites and HIV Family Clinic, the Labor and Delivery Unit, the Women’s Center, CAPC Prenatal, Case Management and Intake Sites and the Medical Records Department, etc.
- Will oversee the Early Identification and Intervention Services (EIIS) program in collaboration with the Medical Director of HIV Ambulatory Services, the Director of Ob/Gyn HIV Care and the Chairman of Ob/Gyn.
- Responsible for the management, expansion and personnel supervision of the Adult section of the HIV Family Clinic. Will supervise all staff who are employed under EIIS grant initiatives in collaboration with their clinical or other departments.
- Responsible for all reporting and data collection requirements of EIIS, MIRIAD, CAPC and other future HIV grants within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Directly supervise Senior Health Education Counselor and Community Education Assistants. Responsible for the supervision of the Women’s Center HIV Counseling Team and all HIV Counseling Services within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Directly supervises URS Research Assistant. In the absence of the Director of Ob/Gyn HIV Care, supervises the MIRIAD Research Assistant.
- Directly supervises Case Management/Social Staff on HIV Grant funding in collaboration with the Department of Social Work.
- Directly supervises CAPC Program Coordinator and CAPC Secretary.
- Responsible for fiscal management of all HIV grants within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Responsible for tracking income generated by various HIV programs operated by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Three to five (3-5) years post Masters experience in a manager administrative capacity in a health or substance abuse center.
Preference for an individual with both direct practice and clinical experience.
- Program Development preferred.
- Licensure appropriate to degree, i.e., MSW/CSW, DCASAC
- Master’s in Social Work
