A staffing coordinator must be an excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with both employees and external vendors.

Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department. Contribution and participation includes data collection, analysis, implementation of and compliance with risk management and claims activities, support of and participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams, consistent adherence to the specific rules and regulations of the BronxCare Health System (a) Safety and Security Policies, (b) Risk Management: Incident and Occurrence Reporting, (c) Infection Control Policies and Procedures and (d) Patient and Customer Service, (e) Employee adherence to the Organization’s Policy, Procedures and Regulations.
Puts into effect the staffing plans for the department |
Liaise with individual Units to fill vacancies with Per Diem and/or Agency staff as approved by the Director
Assume responsibility for timekeeping and time off requests
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
Prepares, submit and maintains reports on staffing operations
Maintains Staffing records for analysis and forecasting staffing needs.
Experience as staffing coordinator or similar position
Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
Associate degree required
