Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or designee is responsible for providing social work services in assisting in the resolution of social and emotional problems through appropriate psychosocial assessment and discharge planning for those referred patients on an inpatient medical, surgical, or pediatric unit, or ambulatory care setting.

The Patient Care Liaison works with patients and their families to address concerns or special needs that may arise during their course of treatment within the hospital setting. This Patient Experience Liaison works directly with various members of the healthcare team, hospital departments, and administration to solve problems that patients & families may have with the goal of facilitating a positive patient experience during their time in the organization. Sexual Risk Avoidance Education grant funded program that reached youth (10-13) and their families. It is an evidence-based interventions and will narrow its focus to the neighborhoods with the highest needs. The project will be comprised of three integrated components (Components 1, 2 and 3) and is designed to empower the participants with decision-making skills, evaluation capabilities, communication skills, presentation design and implementation, and self-reflection. It will also work to increase self-awareness, self-esteem, confidence, and empowerment, including the ability to resist peer-pressure and to effect positive change.

Bronx Care Health System's Department of Psychiatry seeks a Program Administrator for the Opioid Treatment Program. BronxCare Health System is one of only a few hospital systems in New York State to have an Opioid Treatment Program, Inpatient Detoxification unit, an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, an Outpatient Addictions Treatment Program, and a Community Residence located on the same campus. In addition to these multiple levels of addiction treatment, BronxCare Health System has comprehensive mental health services provided by our Department of Psychiatry, the largest mental health provider in the South and Central Bronx.
